Age checks, deposits and state reports, in one workflow.

At a busy counter, an age check and a container deposit belong in the sale. Later, the receipt and reporting records need to be easy to retrieve. mPower connects the transaction to the record your team will need.

Keep age checks and records part of the sale.

How mPower helps

The right check at the right moment.

Make the age check part of checkout.

With required age verification enabled in the register profile, the sale needs a verified birthdate before continuing. Staff can scan a supported license barcode or use the manual birthdate path.

ID scanning at the register

Supported driver’s license barcodes supply the birthdate used for the age check. A manual birthdate entry path is also available.

Required age verification

Enable required age verification in the register profile so a verified birthdate is needed before the sale continues.

Keep deposits and the receipt together.

Configured container deposits are calculated as part of the transaction. The receipt can include the verified birthdate when that setting is enabled. Staff can retrieve the completed sale and review its receipt in the Register Journal.

The sale and its receipt

Retrieve completed transactions in the Register Journal and review the receipt details recorded with the sale.

Configured deposits and bottle fees

Container deposit settings supply the applicable deposit amounts as items are added to the transaction.

Prepare the records for review.

Reporting tools bring the recorded activity into view. In the TABC stamp ledger, filter by location, dates, customer or permit and serial, then export a CSV. Your team reviews the records and handles any required submission.

State-specific reporting tools

Use the applicable reporting tools to prepare records for review. The TABC stamp ledger supports filtering and CSV export; preparation is separate from submission.

Store verification settings

Configure the age-check requirement in the register profile. Staff follow the enabled verification workflow and review the information returned.

The record starts with the transaction.

A check at the counter is more useful when the record can be found later. mPower connects the sale to the receipt and reporting tools, so a question does not begin with reconstructing what happened.

From a completed sale to a clear record

When someone asks, start with the sale.

Find the transaction by date in the Register Journal, review the receipt and use the relevant report for the records you need.

One trail your team can follow.

The configured age check, deposit and stored sale details support the same workflow. Store settings determine the checks, and staff remain responsible for reviewing the result and the requirements that apply to their operation.
