- Create the promotion — set up a promotion in mPower’s Back Office, specifying the discount amount, the products or departments it applies to, and the time window it’s active
- Assign a coupon code — give the promotion a unique coupon code that cashiers enter at the point of sale when a customer presents the coupon
- Apply at checkout — when a customer brings in the coupon, the cashier enters the code and the discount applies automatically to the qualifying items
- Track in mPower Reporter — after the promotion runs, pull a promotion report in mPower Reporter to see how many times the coupon was used, which items it was applied to, and the total discount value given
